Partner Case studyWe simplify the complex

In 2021, Izefy initiated a collaboration with Whistlelink, with the goal of offering a simple and effective all-in-one solution for a secure whistleblower service in Sweden. The partnership became a true success story. Today, around 100 of Izefy’s customers use Whistlelink as their internal whistleblower channel. In this case study, we will take a closer look at which solutions Izefy can offer, and how their collaboration with Whistlelink has evolved.

By partnering with Whistlelink, Izefy delivers a stronger offer for their clients

Izefy strives to simplify and challenge the complex. By combining digital solutions with practical packaging and the right expertise, simple and effective solutions are achieved.

Izefy delivers premium concepts for businesses that require a safe and secure whistleblowing function, as well as advice throughout the process. In addition to the system solution, they also provide support for implementation. For example, assisting with system setup, designing internal routines, and developing communication documents.

A central part of Izefy’s offering is to deliver system support that meets the requirements of the Whistleblower Act. Specifically, regarding how to introduce internal reporting channels in a safe and systematic way. This includes, for example, requirements on information, confidential solutions, and feedback to the whistleblower.

Izefyā€™s services are offered as an annual plan, with different levels based on the customer’s needs. The offer is centered around the whistleblower system and customers have the option to add several additional add-on services to the solution.  These include a third-party intake management service, advice, recommendations, and support.

Izefy’s Intake Management service receives and assesses incoming whistleblower cases on behalf of the customer. If desired, it also offers investigation and legal advice services. The latter is managed in collaboration with partners.

Regarding the customer experience, what is most important ?

We have spoken with Marie Widmark and Aria Chavoshi from Izefy, to find out what is most important and hear customer feedback.

How do you feel about the collaboration with Whistlelink thus far?

“We are incredibly satisfied with the collaboration so far! We have a close relationship where we exchange experiences and receive excellent support. We also get immediate feedback and support when needed.”

Aria and Marie want to emphasize how important it is that the whistleblowing system is easy and intuitive to use, for both customers (system users) and whistleblowers. Whistlelinkā€™s SaaS solution facilitates whistleblowing through its customized online reporting form. Within the case management system, all information regarding a whistleblower case and the subsequent investigation is easily handled in the same, central place.

Another important thing to consider is security. Whistleblowing can often be a sensitive issue, and to Izefy, it is essential to offer a system solution compliant with both the new Swedish whistleblower law as well as GDPR. Another advantage is that Whistlelink is functional in every detail, both in terms of design and the user experience.

"Our customers want a simple solution, well-founded with system support, which enables anonymous whistleblowing. The whistleblower must also feel safe and confident that the entire process is handled in a secure manner."

Further, Marie points out that demands for the system to be entirely hosted within the EU are becoming increasingly common. This is, of course, due to the requirements of the GDPR. For the collaboration between Izefy and Whistlelink, a big advantage is that the system is certified according to ISO 27001 and hosted on servers in Sweden.

So, why did you choose Whistlelink as your partner?

“We appreciate that the system is so easy to work with and intuitive in all aspects. Whistlelink’s high level of security was also crucial, as whistleblowing usually involves extremely sensitive data. We feel that Whistlelink is working in a structured and meticulous way that fulfill all our needs. We have always received strong backing and support from the people at Whistlelink.”

Mariw Widmark, Izefy.

Marie Widmark is a lawyer who worked with law firms, companies, and audit firms. Today, she is the CEO and, together with Aria Chavoshi, founder of Izefy. Marie and Aria both work as advisors for the implementation of whistleblower services.
