Welcome to the Whistlelink Product tour. This will give you a quick, yet thorough, overview of the reporting system, including features for reporting, communicating and managing of incoming reports.
Reporting site
The reporting page is the landing page that users are directed to for reporting. The page is prepared with standard information and with just a few changes and customisations, you’ll be ready to go!
Page
On the page, detailed information about the organisation’s whistleblowing solution is prepared and ready to be published. Customised logotype, image, and colours can be easily changed.
Form
The form comes with a pre-defined questionnaire. Make sure to edit, add and delete questions so that they suit your organisation. There are several different elements to choose between.
Voice
Some national whistleblowing laws require options for oral reporting. Whistlelink’s option to record a Voice Message will allow the reporting person to record a 10 minute audio message.
Reporting channels
On the right hand side of the Reporting page, additional ways of reporting can be promoted.
Case Management
Whistlelink’s Case Management system will help ensure you stay complaint with regulations.
Overview
Get an quick overview and easy access to specific cases from the Dashboard.
Notifications
Notifications are crucial to ensure you do not miss anything important within the system. Notifications are sent via email and text message and will help you to stay compliant with the law.
Two way communication
When communicating with the reporting person, make sure to use the secure and encrypted Messaging model to ensure they remain anonymous. Leverage the templates and auto-replies for efficient and streamlined communication.
Redacting
To keep information confidential, use the redacting feature to hide sensitive case data – before providing access to a case
Statistics
Statistics play an important role when communicating the outcome of the reporting channel with stakeholders. Follow trends and find patterns to reduce the risks within the organisations.

Securing your data is our highest priority and privacy is at the core of what we are doing. Whistleblowing Solutions AB, the company behind Whistlelink is certified with ISO 27001, Information security. Our focus is always on security and GDPR.
Hosting
The quality of hosting is crucial. The same goes for GDPR compliant hosting. Whistlelink is hosted entirely in Sweden and no data is processed or stored outside of EU.
Access control
Make sure data is kept confidential through the access control and user roles.
2FA
The 2FA functionality ensures a secure login. The organisation can chose to make this mandatory for everyone on the team.
Deletion times
The default deletion time of closed cases is one year, but can easily be adapted. Specific deletion case can also be set on case by case basis.
Encryption
All sensitive data is encrypted in rest using AES256 algorithm. The encryption keys used are handled by a Key Management System and by that stored safely.

Many partners have chosen Whistlelink as their preferred reporting system and offer the system as part of a comprehensive solution. This includes law firms, audit firms, and compliance firms.
